Fannie Mae Form

Overview

These are considerations for when you set up a Fannie Mae Form for a new customer

PREREQUISITES: Fannie May Form’s Code

Steps

  1. Import the “Flex Form” into the Customer’s Database
  2. From the Admin section, create an HTML Mapped form with the HTML Code
  3. Consider the below when examining the code or it will not properly map to the new customer’s fields

Considerations

When the code is copied over from another workgroup, the labels in the HTML code for the download still read the previous workgroup’s question IDs. This will cause download errors which will create issues uploading to Fannie Mae. For Example, see image below (https://prnt.sc/fn5uea)

  • You have remapped Borrower First Name, which is question [3144] on the new form.
  • The label for Borrower First Name in the code reads the previous custom form question ID “Q17954.”
  • The label should always match the question so it should be “Q3144” for [3144], which is Borrower First Name
