Why are the Sales Rep Comments/Notes not being saved when I do a mass update?

Q: Why are the Sales Rep Comments/Notes not being logged when I do a mass update?

A: The Timestamp Multiple Record Updates setting must be enabled to log and save notes on mass update.

Go to Administration > View/Edit Workgroups > Select the Workgroup to check > On the Workgroup Setting page under Timestamps > Timestamp Multiple Record Updates setting must be enabled.
