Send Record in the Options Menu on the Record

Overview

How to email the content of a record.

PREREQUISITES: In Manage Workgroups you must have ‘Clone Multiple Records’ enabled in order to see the ‘Send Record’ menu item.

Steps

Open the record by clicking on it.

  1. In the options menu select ‘Send Record’. If you don’t see ‘Send Record’ ask your admin to enable ‘Clone Multiple Records’ in ‘Manage Workgroups’.
  2. When sending the record you’ll have the option to send to:
  • An email address
  • The email of the account manager
  • The email of the partner rep

You will also have the following options for what is included in the record:

  • You’ll be able to select any / all of the sections.
  • You’ll be able to include attached files if you wish.

TIP: Remember to enable ‘Clone Multiple Records’ in Manage Workgroups.

NOTE: The difference between ‘Print/Email a Record’ and ‘Send Record’. Print/Email will attach the record to the email as an HTML file. By contrast Send Record will embed the record inside the email.

WARNING: Email is always sent ‘best effort’. If you don’t receive the email please add the ‘from address’ to your address book and ask your IT Professional to whitelist the from address.
