Screen Pop – Classic vs. Modern Interface

 What’s the syntax for having LeadMaster do a screen pop?

The screen pop integration url is http://www.crmtool.net/lm_sp.asp and takes the following parameters:

1. u – Username of a LeadMaster user having access to the workgroup.
2. p – Password of the LeadMaster user.
3. w – Identifier of the workgroup in which the record(s) to be displayed are associated with.
4. r – Identifier of the record to be displayed.
5. phone – Primary phone number associated with the record to be displayed. 

Note the following:

1. ‘u’, ‘p’, and ‘w’ parameters are not required if the user is currently logged into LeadMaster
2. If the identifier of the record (‘r’ parameter) to be displayed is not known, the primary phone number (‘phone’ parameter) can be passed instead. The primary phone number will be used to search for the record to be displayed.
3. If the phone number parameter is included, the following characters are removed from the phone number since a match is attempted only matching on the numeric digits of the phone number:
   a. spaces
   b. ‘(‘
   c. ‘)’
   d. ‘-‘
4. If the phone number matches to more than one record, the first record found is displayed (sorted by date entered).
5. If the record to be displayed is not found, the home page will be displayed to allow the user to search for the record or enter a new record.
