Calendar & Callback Rules

Here are the options and results for adding callbacks using the + on the home page accordion when the User Settings are set to:

Filter Call Backs/Events = View call backs/events for all records

Callback is not assigned – callback is not linked to a record
Result: the callback/event is assigned to logged in user and shows up in home page accordion callback report

Callback is not assigned – callback is linked to a record
Result: the callback/event is assigned to logged in user and shows up in home page accordion callback report

Callback is assigned to anyone other than the logged in user – callback is not linked to a record
Result: the callback/event will not show up in logged in user’s home page accordion callback report

Callback is assigned to anyone other than the logged in user -callback is linked to a record
Result: the callback/event will show up in the logged in user’s home page accordion

Generally speaking if the callback is linked to a record and Filter Call Backs/Events = View call backs/events for all records then it will show up in the home page accordion callback report regardless whether the callback is assigned or not.
